TSIFB Chapter 3

穿成校草被迫营业 / Transmigrated into a School Idol and Forced to Do Business
For you

It could be because there had been a little progress with the importing, but after the reminder from 008, the information of the parents began to intermittently appear in Yu Baizhou’s mind.

The original owner was adopted by a man when he was five years old but did not have a father and mother like other people. The original had two fathers. The gentle-looking man in front of him was one of them.

Fu Xia, thirty-five years old, was a well-known architectural designer and had designed the villa in front of him. His other father, Yu Chen, thirty-six years old, was an esteemed CEO of a listed company in the city. When he was young, the rich second-generation son met the original owner’s father, Fu Xia, and set his mind to be determined and focused on his family and career.

Two years after Yu Chen and Fu Xia had formed a family, they adopted the original Yu Baizhou.

Yu Baizhou shuffled around his thoughts and sorted them out in his mind. After coming to terms with the fact that the man who looked to be in his early twenties was actually his father, he accepted the fact that his parents were a pair of husbands.

Actually, Yu Baizhou was very open-minded when it came to people’s sexual orientation. Just like how heterosexual relationships were common, homosexual relationships were almost the same in his eyes, so after knowing that his parents were husbands he only buffered for a moment before returning to his normal state.

Fu Xia was surprised when Yu Baizhou shouted “Dad”, and this expression fell onto Yu Baizhou’s eyes.

According to the information from the book, the original owner had actually rejected his parents for being different from others. When he was a child, this was not the case, and he didn’t find it strange to have two fathers…until he learned from other people’s gossip that it was abnormal for him to have two dads. The original began to resent the two, and after accidentally walking into his fathers being intimate, the disgust reached its extreme point. Not only was he angry with the two members of the family, but he also talked about running away and becoming independent. The not-that-well-tempered original owner had packed up his belongings when he started his third year at high school and was currently holding a grudge. Since then, he had been in a stalemate with his parents in the family and refused to call them fathers. No longer was he that same child who behaved coquettishly to his dads, and the relationship between the family began to dwindle as invisible walls grew between the members.

“I received the notice that you don’t have self-study today.” Fu Xia’s voice pulled Yu Baizhou’s thoughts back.

Yu Baizhou replied, “En*.”

[T/N: a hum of confirmation, basically, ‘okay’]

“Are you hungry? I had your auntie* to prepare your favourite steamed egg with shrimp. It should be about ready now.”

[T/N: a housekeeper auntie, not a blood-related one]

Fu Xia spoke while reaching out to hold Yu Baizhou’s hand to lead him to the dining room. However, just as he extended his hand, it paused mid-air, then dropped again. He then smiled and said, “Let’s go.”

Yu Baizhou carefully captured Fu Xia’s change in mood and froze for half a second. Thinking about it for a while, he stepped forward and took Fu Xia’s arm.

Fu Xia’s expression showed that he was somewhat stunned.

Yu Baizhou asked in the slightly coquettish tone that children gave to their elders, “Dad, is there anything other than shrimp steamed eggs*? There’s still a lot of other things I want to eat.”

[T/N: something like chawanmushi, a very soft pudding-textures egg dish]

Fu Xia’s eyes sparkled with warmth. “Tell me what else you want to eat, I will ask your auntie to prepare it for you.”

Yu Baizhou listed down a few simple dishes, and the two talked while walking to the dining room.

Sitting at the table, the delicacies were served one by one as Yu Baizhou and Fu Xia chatted.

After a while, there was news from the living room. Yu Chen had come back.

Fu Xia got up and went out. As a courtesy, Yu Baizhou also placed down the tableware and followed.

The man who had just returned was standing to the side of the sofa and using one hand to loosen his tie. Yu Baizhou only saw the back of the figure, but from it alone, he could tell that this was a very temperamental man.

When Yu Chen got up to face them, Yu Baizhou could see the man fully. The body wrapped in a dark suit looked very good, and his height was around 180cm. His facial features were also handsome, it was just that…the expression on his face was a little sombre.

Fu Xia stepped forward to take Yu Chen’s coat and asked, “What’s wrong? What happened to the company?”

“The one we recruited last month was unfamiliar with the financial aspects and there was a problem with accounts.”

“What’s the specific situation?”

While the two dads discussed business affairs, Yu Baizhou walked slowly to the TV and studied the water dispenser in front of him. He poured two cups of warm water, placed them on the table in front of the two men, and then returned to the kitchen.

When Yu Chen saw the warm water on the table he was shocked still, then turned to Fu Xia, “What’s the specific situation?” He pointed to the kitchen. “Did that boy lose his brain today?”

Fu Xia: “……”

The three sat together for dinner, and since Yu Chen’s work-life was not going smoothly, and the atmosphere at the dinner table was a bit stifling. Yu Baizhou only ate a little bit of a meal.

“Yu Baizhou, did you make any trouble at school today?”

When Yu Chen’s voice was heard, Yu Baizhou choked on the spoonful of egg in his mouth.

Fu Xia handed him a napkin and said to Yu Chen, “Don’t discuss his school matters when we’re eating.”

Yu Chen replied, “If he didn’t only make trouble at school all day long, do you think I would have to bring this up?”

Fu Xia wanted to defend him, but Yu Baizhou took the napkin and wiped his mouth. He said, “I’m sorry, I made you two constantly worry about me in your hearts.”

Hearing this, the two simultaneously wore a dumbfounded expression.

Yu Baizhou knew that the original host’s personality was stubborn as hell and often caused mischief so the two fathers had always lost sleep over him. Now that he owned the body, he must do the job of appeasing the emotions within the two.

Yu Baizhou calmed his tone before telling them solemnly that in the future he would put his mind and heart into his studies, and would never fail their expectations.

No parent would want to continuously worry about their children, and Yu Chen and Fu Xia were the same.

After listening, the two fathers glanced at each other. They couldn’t believe the words that had come out of their son’s mouth. Then they turned to face Yu Baizhou together.

It had been a very long time since he was the centre of attention. Being stared at like this, Yu Baizhou felt a little embarrassed.

Fu Xia asked first, “Really?”

Yu Baizhou affirmed, “En.”

Yu Chen looked at Yu Baizhou and put down the chopsticks that were in his hand. “Okay. From now and until the end of this semester, if you can guarantee to study hard in school and not bring up trouble, I promise to let you participate in that Romanian volunteering project you were always talking about for holiday.”

“Romania…” Yu Baizhou didn’t react for a bit, then thought of something, and asked excitedly, “Is-is that the hometown of the famous vampire?! “

Yu Chen looked at his mentally handicapped son without a trace of pity. “…Supposedly.”

Yu Baizhou was so excited that he became speechless. Truthfully, he really liked the legends of vampires and werewolves that ran and hunted in the night. He found them very handsome!

He obediently assured Yu Chen, “Don’t worry, Father*. I promise you, I will never get into trouble again!”

[T/N: YBZ calls FX “小爸” (little dad), and YC “大爸” (big dad), which I find very cute, but I will be using ‘Dad’ for FX and ‘Father’ for YC]

In this world, he had only one purpose, that is, to live. To fight and cause trouble were activities he had no experience in. So with this agreement, it was not burdensome for him at all!

The next day, Yu Baizhou was in a cheerful mood. When he went to eat in the cafeteria, the emotions displayed on his face could not be hidden.

Tu Gaoming has always thought his family’s* boss was a cold and cruel person. He had never seen Yu Baizhou’s good mood that was shown at this time.

[T/N: not blood-related; “家”/family in this case means something like a gang, haha]

He felt quite guilty…seeing the boss like this was a little cute.

From time to time, people looked at Yu Baizhou with envious and admiring eyes.

“Yu-shao in a white shirt is so handsome today! Practically made for him to wear!”

“If I could have half of Yu-shao’s face value, I would have no regrets!”

“I will die peacefully if I could just talk to him for once!”

“Yu-shao must have grown up drinking milk, I envy his skin 100 times a day!”

“I hope that Yu-shao can perform on stage during the National Day Party. Today’s Yu-shao has transformed into such a beauty, if he could be a drummer, then he’ll become even more handsome!”

Yu Baizhou came back from his daydream to listen to the people who spouted out their praise like farts. It was a little shameful.

Although his achievements were often exaggerated in his previous life, it was the first time he received this overwhelming glorification.

While eating, there were suddenly more people by the empty space next to him. Turning around, he found that it was because of a fashionable-looking girl.

The girl walked up to him. “Yu-shao, where are we going to play this weekend?”

Yu Baizhou didn’t recognize the person in front of him. His body subconsciously faced away from her to avoid the girl’s lack in understanding of personal space.

Notice his avoidance, the girl showed a dissatisfied expression on her face, and frowned. “Last time I went to the bar, who said they would take me out on a date? Did Yu-shao forget about me?”

Yu Baizhou didn’t have any idea who this person was. It seemed like the book’s original host had many ambiguous relationships with multiple girls, and this student was probably one of them.

This was a bit troublesome, might as well just refuse.

Yu Baizhou said, “I didn’t forget, but this week I…”

When the girl heard this, she immediately intercepted his excuse. “Are you going to tell me that you have no time? You promised me.”

Finished, she stretched out a hand to hold his arm.

Yu Baizhou: “……”

He looked at the girl’s angry face, smiled, and slid his arm out of the girl’s grip. “We’ll talk about this later.”

The girl frowned and was just about to start whining when suddenly, not far away, there was the sound of a plate hitting the ground.

The crowd’s attention shifted to that direction.

There was a boy surrounded by several others and the ground was sprinkled with rice and vegetables. Several broken pieces of the plate were scattered around him.

Yu Baizhou recognized the encircled boy. It was He Yan.

Tu Gaoming quickly glanced at the boy, turned away, then looked back. “Ah, is that who I think it is? He Yan is such a weirdo, so I guess it’s not that surprising.”

Because of the distance, Yu Baizhou could not hear the dialogue between the group of boys and He Yan, and could only see the scene from his position. Suddenly, he saw He Yan being pushed roughly by a flat-headed boy and forced back half a step, ending up with his back pressed against the wall. The boy was a few centimeters shorter than He Yan, with a very fierce and taunting expression.

Yu Baizhou felt his heart clench.

Unable to bear the sight anymore, Yu Baizhou withdrew his eyes. He squeezed the chopsticks in his hand and told his heart that it was none of his business.

He promised his dad he wouldn’t cause anymore trouble at school again.

While eating, Tu Gaoming spoke to Che Cong, who was next to him, “Look, Che Cong, I told you before. Might as well continue to fight otherwise people won’t find you pleasant to the eye. Taking a fist to your body teaches you how to be a man in minutes, so you should just learn from me and the boss.”

Che Cong shook his head helplessly, “Such a simple-minded person like you will find it impossible to teach others.”

Tu Gaoming: “You’re simple-minded!”

The girl next to Yu Baizhou glanced at He Yan, clasped her hands, and spoke with undisguised disgust, “What’s the use of studying? With such an appalling background, he was doomed to be lower than other people from the beginning. It’s not surprising at all that he’s the main target for bullies.”

Hearing this, Yu Baizhou’s expression became a little ugly.

Sun Tianshuo sneered at He Yan with a provocative expression.

Although Sun Tianshuo, as a person, was not on the same plane as He Yan when it came to his studies, he was much stronger. He stuffed his hands in his pockets and followed by a group of little brothers, he had attracted an audience for the show.

Raising his chin with a sense of superiority, he peered down at the person in front of him like how one would to an ant, and ordered, “Apologise.”

He Yan glanced at the rice spilled all over the place and the broken plate. His face did not expose any traces of emotion.

On the side, someone started to speak in He Yan’s defense.

“Running into someone and then asking for an apology. Is he sick in the head?”

The few people who knew the truth of the situation began to whisper at the side.

“No, it was obviously Sun Tianshuo who hit him first, and it’s He Yan’s plate that fell to the ground.”

“So the study tyrant has to apologise even though he was the one that was wronged?”

It was just that these voices were quickly covered by more discussion.

“Wow, the shameless study tyrant is disgusting.”

“Just because the teachers prefer good grades. Haha, to raise a straight-A student would just be a waste of national resources.”

“With such a gloomy atmosphere around his entire body, never showing his face, and infecting anyone who touches him with bad luck, why did our school accept such a person?”

“Hiding his face all the time, I suspect that he’s actually a pervert.”

“Don’t say it, just thinking about it makes me scared to death.”

Sun Tianshuo listened to the buzzing discussions and his mouth twitched with satisfaction. He raised his voice to speak to the person in front of him, “He Yan, give laozi an apology. Since I’m a forgiving person, call me Dad after you say sorry and I won’t care about this matter anymore.”

[T/N: “老子”/laozi: an honorific meaning ‘(this) master/father’, can be an arrogant way a guy refers to himself]

The little brothers on the side booed. They seemed to have a thing for humiliating others.

Sun Tianshuo waited but did not hear He Yan speak for a long time, then became unable to maintain his face. His wide grin faded, and he reached out his hand to push He Yan again. “Last warning, apologize to laozi!”

A jade pendant fell out of He Yan’s pocket but did not attract the attention of anyone.

Sun Tianshuo pressed down with force on He Yan’s shoulders, getting closer to threaten him. “You better obey me or else you’ll face the consequences.*”

[T/N: “别敬酒不吃吃罚酒”: an idiom; ‘to refuse a toast only to be forced to drink a forfeit’, which means how one who hesitates to complete an action will be forced to do it even more]

He Yan stared at his belongings that had fallen to the ground and finally showed some emotion in his eyes.

Ignoring Sun Tianshuo’s threat and keeping his eyes on the jade pendant on the ground he said with a cold voice, “Piss off.”

Hearing him say this, Sun Tianshuo was enraged. He had finally run out of patience. “He Yan, your mother*! You’re fucking looking for a beating right now?!”

[T/N: “”□□妈贺衍”: the boxes were in the raws so I think some words were censored. I’m pretty sure they were along the lines of “你妈”/your mother, which is an insult that basically means ‘fuck you’]

Sun Tianshuo grabbed He Yan’s school uniform and lifted his fist to wind up for a punch when suddenly, his shoulders were tightly grabbed from behind.

At the same time, a pair of sneakers stopped in front of the jade pendant. The owner of the sneakers bent down, back turned to the light coming through the door. He picked up the jade pendant on the ground and reached out to the person in front of him.

“For you, your jade pendant.”

The author has something to say:

Troublemaker Xiao-Yu*: “After receiving this jade pendant, you are now Yu family’s person.”

[T/N: ‘小’: little]

  3. The MC is the hero rescuing a beauty! But he’s the one who threatened the beauty before, so…

I wonder if the MC will change his first period class (?) to another teacher and then boost up his grades. It would be easier to hide all of his changes that way, especially since he and the original are nothing alike.
