Husky’s Side Chapter 31

Life-Saving Days by the Husky’s Side
Going home with the rich

The scene in the private room became very chaotic.

Aunt Qian had the vitality of a deeply grieving woman at a loved one’s funeral, howling so hard she almost overturned the ceiling, causing many people outside to run over in the hopes of taking a look at whatever the hell was going on. Zhou Lubo slammed shut the doors of the room.

Uncle Qian was a little embarrassed and quickly went to soothe his sister.

Qian Duoshu stiffly stood to the side, looking back and forth between Zhou Li and the boy in Aunt Qian’s arms. His expression was both tense and at a loss and he seemed to be untethered from reality, as if he would pass into the next world at any time.

With tears in her eyes, Madam Zhou was also trying to help soothe the other woman, but when she heard Aunt Qian’s heartbreaking cry of “God is lacking in virtue, only letting you come home after ten long years”, she suddenly felt her heart shatter into pieces. Tears pooled up in her eyes and dropped to the floor.

She could no longer hold back, twisting her body and throwing herself to Zhou Li, wrapping him in a suffocating hug.

She was born petite, with her height being just enough to rest her head on Zhou Li’s shoulders.

Due to her upbringing, she did not cry like Aunt Qian. Instead, her cries were very restrained, although her entire body was still shaking slightly. A certain person’s T-shirt was soon soaked with tears that carried a scorching heat.

Zhou Li looked down at her before sighing extremely lightly. He raised his hand and patted her shoulder in a comforting manner.

At this time, he noticed the lighting in the room waver and looked up, only to see a tall middle-aged man approaching them. The man wore a button-up shirt and trousers, both of which were well maintained. He appeared to only be in his thirties, but right now he looked a little haggard with his bloodshot eyes and two slight crinkles on his shirt.

Zhou Li glanced over the man and guessed that the ragged appearance was from either having just gotten off a plane or the high-speed railways.

Because he used to belong to this social class, he knew these people were very particular with their styles and the shirts they wore will need to be ironed in advance. For something like this to happen, there was a high possibility that the wearer had rushed for at least half a night plus one morning, causing the original shirt to become wrinkled. By the time they noticed, it would be too late for them to grab a new one from home or to buy a new shirt, so they could only take a crisp folded one from the suitcase to temporarily wear as a replacement.

Seeing his wife’s sorrow, Father Zhou approached them with the habitual intention to comfort her. It was at this time that he happened to meet child’s gaze and was instead enveloped by the same sadness that plagued his wife. Unable to control himself, he stretched his arms to embrace the two together in his arms.

Zhou Li: “……”

The waiter stood awkwardly in the corner, silently acting as a spectator to the two families in front of her.

She had been stunned to a still by the shocking howls just now. When she came back to her senses, she found that the doors were closed. Just as she was hesitating whether to stay as an invisible person or to open the door, she met the striking gaze of the handsome man standing to the side. In an instant, her back straightened up.

Zhou Lubo said, “We will call you over when we are ready to order food.”

The waiter understood in seconds and slipped out, as is she had been given amnesty.

Zhou Lubo waited for the door to be closed again before frowning and skimming his eyes over to the howling middle-aged woman who seemed to be missing a stop button. He was about to try calm the woman down when he heard Uncle Qian suddenly raising his voice to say, “Okay, you can finish now!”

The voice was full of energy and the effect worked instantly.

Aunt Qian quietly cut off her crying as if she had been unplugged from a power supply. There wasn’t even a sign of transition in the middle.

Zhou Lubo: “……”

Aunt Qian took a step back and let go of the boy in her arms. Although there were no tears on her face, she still looked very sad, choking out, “Child, I am your auntie ah!”

Zhou Luwen was also a little confused by this sudden situation, because it was the first time he had met such a person.

He was somewhat overwhelmed and embarrassed but quickly (and forcibly) calmed himself down. Looking at the person in front of him, he nodded politely and called out, “Auntie.”

Aunt Qian let out an ‘ai’ in relief and brought him in for another hug while howling like before. She then reached out to drag Qian Duoshu over and said, “Child, this is your dad.”

Zhou Luwen’s heart skipped a beat and he turn to look at Qian Duoshu.

Qian Duoshu was finally allowed to see the boy’s appearance without any distruption. His whole body trembled, and his eyes instantly became hot.

Too alike. The child looks too much like his wife. There was no need for a DNA test. He knew that this boy was truly his and his wife’s child.

Seeing the man staring unblinkingly at him, Zhou Luwen took the initiative to call out, “Dad.”

Qian Duoshu lips quivered and a noise of some kind escaped his mouth. He raised his hands slightly before putting them down, not daring to move.

Zhou Luwen was a person with a very undisturbed heart so he stepped forward two steps and hugged the man. Qian Duoshu burst into tears in an instant and rushed to wipe at the corners of his eyes, turning his head and pressing his face into the boy’s shoulder.

Uncle Qian saw this scene and said, “Okay, okay, let’s all sit down ba.”

Aunt Qian was relieved the moment she heard Zhou Luwen call out “Dad”, so she happily followed to persuade the others. “Yes yes yes, everyone sit down.”

Once she finished speaking, she cordially pulled Zhou Luwen’s wrist, leading him to sit down beside her. At the same time, she turned her head and signalled for Qian Duoshu to sit on Zhou Luwen’s other side.

Father Zhou also let go of his wife and son, wanting them to take a seat together.

Madam Zhou didn’t move for a while and instead just looked up at her son, with tears still on her face.

Zhou Li knew what she was looking forward to. He suddenly felt as if his heart was suffocating.

To tell the truth, he had no regards about his image and could even call out “Dad” to Qian Duoshu without any pressure, let alone to these two elders. It’s just that, the feeling he got with this Zhou family reminded him of his previous ‘home’ for some reason, and this light but sudden dip into the past made him feel a little sad.

He had inexplicably come back to life. Although he made an obvious profit out of this revival, neither his family nor friends were with him. In this world, he was the only one floating without any roots. He didn’t even know how much longer he can float for.

Fortunately, he has long given up clinging onto these thoughts. He allowed himself to feel sad for a short moment before recovering, offering the two parents a lovely smile.

Mother and Father Zhou naturally did not force anything and took him to sit down at the table, handing him the menu.

Zhou Li readily chose three dishes he wanted to eat and handed the menu back to the parents. Father Zhou took advantage of the small break they had while people were preparing food, looking at the gauze on his head and asking, “Does your head still hurt?”

Zhou Li said, “It only hurts a little.”

Father Zhou replied with an “en“.

They all knew what happened yesterday. Because it was a minor injury, it was at most just a loss of money and Ji Tianyang had already paid the bill out of his own pockets. He thought for a moment and said, “I heard that the man who beat you never apologised. If you want to continue pursuing him, you can tell me.”

Zhou Li was very honest. “I want to.”

He looked at Father Zhou. “I hope you* can help me arrange a meeting. I want to talk to the injured patient.”

[T/N: formal ‘you’. ZL’s language is very polite when talking to these biological parents (and every other elder in the book universe)]

The Zhou family had come knocking on his door. He will be insured in the future, but the same can’t be said for Xiao Wu.

After all, what Lin Ye wanted to play with in the past was Xiao Wu. With this road now blocked, Lin Ye might switch back to his old target. With Xiao Wu’s family being in its current state, they won’t be able to hold up at all.

Although Father Zhou was puzzled, he still eagerly responded, “Okay.”

Zhou Li: “Thank you.”

Before the food was served on the table, Aunt Qian opened her chatterbox mouth and held Zhou Luwen’s hand, telling him all about his mother.

Zhou Li took a peek and saw that Zhou Luwen was listening very attentively, a clear showcase of his sincerity in wanting to know about his relatives. This young master suddenly learned he was not born into the family he had been living with for all his life and will definitely be upset and uneasy, but this was all solved because their family environment was truly too good. After two months of adjustment, he was like those children on the news, who were adopted by families living abroad but returned to China to find their blood relatives, full of curiosity and willing to contact their ‘real’ family.

He turned his eyes to the Zhou family members again, seeing their lack in intense emotions. They had obviously discussed this prior to the meeting.

Father Zhou was also secretly looking at his son.

While they waited for the results of their investigation last night, they checked the hot topics on the Internet and found these two events coincided with each other. This child was his high school’s top standing tyrant. He smoked, drank, skipped classes, fought, and relentlessly teased little girls, doing anything and everything. Including those in his school, he would go as far as picking fights with anyone else in the society, and so every few days he will carry wounds on his body, full of hostility and never-ending anger.

But right now, watching this boy quietly hold a cup and drinking politely, he felt that not only was their source of information lacking, it was simply a file of useless facts strung together by an incompetent gatherer ah. Were all school bullies so introverted nowadays?

Father Zhou turned a few words over in his head and said, “Has your big brother told you yet? We want to transfer you to Mingying High. The teachers are all highly qualified and much more responsible. They won’t ignore students just because of poor academic performances.”

He paused and added, “But the new environment definitely won’t be easy to adapt to in such a short time. This decision depends on what you personally want.”

Zhou Li didn’t mind. “I’m fine with anything, I’ll listen to what you choose for me.”

Father Zhou hummed in affirmation and continued after a brief moment of silence, “What do you usually like to do?”

Zhou Li said. “I have a vast array of hobbies, such as, singing, watching TV dramas, planting vegetation, teasing dogs, and the like.”

Father Zhou: “……”

The impression was a little far off from a normal school bully ah.

After these few words of exchange, their food was served one plate after another.

Thus, this group of people had a meal while making their way through their awkward conversations. Because the gap between the two families was too big, not to mention how they had only just met, the topics could only be around their children. Aunt Qian employed their strong gossiping skills and at this time, seemed to let go of her dislike towards her ex-nephew. She picked some interesting stories from his childhood. It was rare for her to mention those “honourable” deeds that made her look down on him so greatly in the past.

Madam Zhou listened carefully. Her tears had the tendency to drop down every now and so often but she quickly held back and briefly talked about Zhou Luwen’s own stories.

The two sides went back and forth until they slowly finished their meal. When Father Zhou saw that everyone was about done with their meals, he turned back to the matter at hand, which centred around the approaching start of the school term.

They brought home the wrong baby. There were no relevant cases of a similar situation in these areas and thus there was nothing that can be used as a reference for either family.

There were many such scenarios online in news and movies and television works, especially when the family environments were very different, and most of them do not have a happy ending. After they confirmed they had found the right child last night and after reading the information they collected, almost all the family members suffered from insomnia.

Hate it? Of course they hated it.

He was a good child, who should have enjoyed the best resources and treatment, who should have grown up carefree and happy, but instead, this boy was eventually shaped into such a person. Last night, he almost had the wish to teleport over to the other family’s home and drag Qian Duoshu into a brawl.

Fate seemed to enjoy playing tricks on them. They never wanted to take the wrong baby home, and they never want to be separated from their biological child for these seventeen years.

Now that these matters have come to an end, instead of blaming the mistakes that have already happened, their entire family wanted to put in their best efforts walking along this tightrope. Although they may tremble on the thin line, they were willing to do so in order to achieve a good result.

He looked at the Qian family and slowly continued, “I hope you can let Xiao-Wen continue to attend his current school. In terms of the cost…en, it’s a little more expensive than public schools, so I hope the fees can be provided by us, so these two boys can finish high school safely. If you are really not at ease, you can move Xiao-Wen’s household registration first, as we talked about this morning. During school terms, Xiao-Wen will still live in my house and go home during the holidays, or we can have both children live with you when there is no school, depending on your wishes.”

The best result is for the two families to live harmoniously. This can be considered as raising the two boys together.

When they take the university entrance examination, they will become independent adults and have their own ideas and life plans. As parents, they can only support their decisions before letting go. Xiao-Wen, this child, has always been cheerful and stable and didn’t need to be fussed over. It’s mainly their own son, who was seventeen years old and whose personality has already taken shape as what it was now, that they will need to spend more time getting along with.

Before Qian Duoshu could begin to speak, Aunt Qian smiled and said, “That’s great ah. Both them can come back and live here during the holidays. Liye will also be able to take Xiao-Wen around to play around.”

Zhou Lubo raised his eyes and glanced at her, lifting the cup in his hands to take a sip of water, keeping silent.

The corners of Zhou Li’s mouth twitched.

He understood. Who knew what these elders talked about in the morning, but whatever it was, it led to this auntie discovering how rich the Zhou family was and now she didn’t break off the relationship between them and her ex-nephew. No wonder she had been praising him just then.

Aunt Qian said, “Oh yes, how much are the tuition fees?”

Father Zhou paused and answered, “With the tuition and extra fees added together, 300,000* yuan a year.”

[T/N: ~$46,000USD]

Aunt Qian suddenly sucked in a sharp breath, saying with an obvious stuffiness in her voice, “That…isn’t that too expensive?”

Father Zhou said, “No, the school is good.”

Aunt Qian gave Qian Duoshu a wink, signalling for him to agree.

Qian Duoshu opened his mouth and remained frozen for a while.

The rational side of his brain knew that he should agree, but he has always been the pillar of the family so emotionally, in front of his biological son, admitting he can’t afford the tuition made him feel very embarrassed.

Seeing this, Aunt Qian grew anxious and turned to smile at Father Zhou. “Then, we’ll be troubling you ah.”

Father Zhou said a quick “it’s no trouble”. With the school affairs having been finalised, he secretly let out a sigh of relief.

Once everyone was finished with their meals, the Zhou family wanted to invite the other family over to their home for a chat. Aunt Qian wanted to agree but seeing how Qian Duoshu refused their offer prior to her reply, she could only to give up. The two families left each other their contact information and the Zhou family wrote down the address of their home before they said their goodbyes and left.

Madam Zhou looked at Zhou Li tentatively. “Our house is very close to here. How about you come and live with us tonight?”

“Right ah, Liye, you should go home and look around for a bit.” Aunt Qian smiled cordially and looked in Zhou Luwen’s direction. No matter how she looked, she was very satisfied with this big nephew of hers. She smiled, “Xiao-Wen, why don’t you come back and live with us for the night?”

Zhou Luwen paused in his steps and looked at Qian Duoshu with a question in his eyes.

Qian Duoshu looked at this boyish face. His mouth opened and closed, before saying in a dumb voice, “Another day ba, the house is too messy, nothing…nothing has been cleaned up.”

He looked at Zhou Li. “Liye, you should go with them and live there for the night ba.”

Zhou Li met the man’s eyes and understood in seconds.

It wasn’t as if Qian Duoshu didn’t want his dear son to come home with him, it’s just that he was too scared to. His mood has gone up and down several steep hills today. If he has a bout of his ‘sickness’ and beats someone, things will escalate very quickly.

Of course, Zhou Li was also not willing to go home and stay with a ticking time bomb, so he was kind enough to agree, “Sure.”

Qian Duoshu took one last look at him and Zhou Luwen, then said goodbye to the Zhou family. He turned and walked outside.

Aunt Qian was anxious.

The household registration has not been switched yet. At the very least, one child must be kept by his side ah. She hurriedly chased after him in hopes to change his mind.

Qian Duoshu’s eyes were getting more and more bloodshot, enduring the pain of his decisions, when he suddenly whipped his head around. “Shut up, this is my fucking son, not yours. Laozi is willing!”

This roar shook the sky and instantly attracted the attention of everyone around.

Aunt Qian was also given a shock and took a half step back. Qian Duoshu immediately regained his senses, feeling a torrent of cold water splashing down his head. He was almost too afraid to look back. He gasped, heaving as he tried to calm his breathing. “Liye will need to move over when school starts. He can familiarise himself with the new environment before that.”

Aunt Qian said with a sorrowful expression, “That’s fine too, I guess… He can come home afterwards anyway.”

Qian Duoshu ignored her, turning his head so he can continue walking, but then he heard the sound of footsteps behind him and a hand pressed firmly on his shoulder.

He subconsciously wanted to push it away, but before he could raise his wrist another hand clasped around his arm. A sharp flash flew across in his eyes and he turned around abruptly, only to meet Zhou Li’s steady gaze.

Zhou Li stared at him quietly, not letting go.

Let a person who was on the verge of losing control take two people in his car to drive back in this condition, if things go wrong, it will cost three lives.

He said, “I still have something to tell you, let’s talk over there ba.”

As he spoke, he pulled the man into the lounge past the halls and pressed him onto a bench by the windows.

Qian Duoshu happened to come back to his senses at this moment. Feeling his hands trembling faintly, he squeezed them together.

Thinking of the previous loss of control, he couldn’t help saying, “Can you keep my business…”

Zhou Li raised his eyebrows. “A secret?”

He laughed, “I think you have underestimated that domineering big brother of mine.”

Qian Duoshu unconsciously turned his head subconsciously and saw Zhou Lubo looking at them with steel cold eyes. The stare seemed to penetrate him, his body suddenly stiffening into a rock.

Zhou Li said, “Besides, I have to confess my dual personality to them. Even if I don’t reveal it, I’m too different from my previous personality and they’ll ask sooner or later.”

Qian Duoshu opened his mouth and couldn’t say a single word. He just looked at the boy in front of him, pleadingly.

Zhou Li said, “Of course, I will also tell them the truth about your treatment.”

He turned his body around with the intention to leave, but not without saying, “You can leave after you calm down. No matter what my aunt says when you are on the road, it’ll just enter your left ear and come out of the right. You just found your son, you don’t want to have a car accident, do you?”

He left this sentence as a farewell and returned to where the Zhou family were waiting, calmly ignoring Zhou Lubo’s gaze and following them to the parking lot at his own pace.

The Zhou family came in two cars. Zhou Li followed Mother and Father Zhou into one while Zhou Lubo and Zhou Luwen climbed into the other. One after the other, they drove into the neighbuorhood where the Zhou family’s residence was located. The cars stopped in front of a mansion.

The couple silently observed their son’s expression and said, “We’re here. This is your home.”

Zhou Li let out an “oh” and dilly-dallied after them slowly, entering a bedroom on the third floor.

This bedroom was clearly cleaned up just recently. The bedding and everything else looked brand new. Most of the space in the room was empty, but he didn’t know what kind of ideas had planted itself in their brains since there was also a vertical standing punching bag placed in the room.

Madam Zhou had guided him around the house all the way and said, “Your dad called someone to buy it. He said you might like it.”

Zhou Li was speechless.

Madam Zhou said, “If you are not satisfied with this room, there are others available. Do you want to see?”

Zhou Li: “No need.”

Madam Zhou replied, “The bed sheets have all been washed so you don’t need to worry about them. We didn’t know what you like so we didn’t want to buy anything else. If you want something, just say it, I’ll have them take you out to let you choose for yourself.”

Zhou Li glanced at her. Seeing the caution and care in her eyes, he said, “No, it’s already very good. I want to take an afternoon nap.”

Madam Zhou said, “Oh, that’s good… Then you can take your nap, I won’t bother you for any longer.”

Zhou Li watched the door close, then let out a helpless sigh.

Cultivating family relationships from scratch like this was incredibly troublesome. You had to be cautious about every action, especially when every action could lead to a minor falling out. In particular, for those who grew up in such a poor environment, this process was even more difficult.

In the original text, Qian Liye and the Zhou family probably encountered this such scenario, except with them, the scene was most likely much more miserable.

Because the main issue lied in the fact that he was the actual party involved, he couldn’t be or act as indifferent as Zhou Li, and with his personality being prone to blowing things up to a larger scale than it had to, there was the possibility that before they could establish a stable relationship, the boy would have a mental breakdown first.

Zhou Li shook his head and went to sleep.

Madam Zhou closed the door and rushed all the way down to the living room.

The rest of the Zhou family were waiting for her. Father Zhou saw her come over and said, “Did he say he needed anything? Why didn’t he come down?”

Madam Zhou said, “He said everything was fine and that he wanted take a nap.”

The Zhou family: “……”

This was way too easy-going! The plan they spent half a day coming up with was totally useless ah!

Father Zhou looked at his eldest son. “Was your background check correct?”

Zhou Lubo looked back in silence, sending back a look that told him to check for himself.

Father Zhou was helpless. He pondered for a while then asked, “Do you think it’s because he’s too used to being the school’s big boss, so he has seen more ‘things’?”

The others stared at him.

Father Zhou only felt a growing pain in his temples and waved his hand dismissively. “Okay, none of us slept well last night, let’s all take a nap too ba.”

With this, everyone in the household slept until the evening.

When Zhou Li came downstairs, everyone else had already woken up. Hearing Madam Zhou ask him what he wanted to eat for dinner, he knew that replying with “whatever” at this time was the most troublesome answer, so he asked, “Is there a menu?”

Madam Zhou was taken aback and instinctively replied “There is, wait a moment, I’ll get it for you.”

She hurried into the kitchen. Although there was no such thing as a menu before, something like this can be made readily available if need, so she soon came out with a flat board that had all of the chef’s specialty dishes written on it.

Zhou Li chose two and handed it back to her, then walked to the single sofa to sit down and wait for the meal to be served.

Father Zhou glanced at him and asked, “There’s still some time before the food is done. How about I take you to around the community, have a little walk?”

Zhou Li made no objections and got up from the sofa, following him out.

The two walked along the path. Zhou Li saw the man visibly try to think about a opening topic, so he took the initiative. “Do you guys think I am different from what you’ve heard?”

Father Zhou cautiously answered “…just a little.”

Zhou Li smiled. “Let me be put it straight ba. I am not the Qian Liye you performed a background check on, but the second personality of this body. My name is Zhou Li, and although my surname is also Zhou, it is purely coincidental.”

“……” Father Zhou felt his brain stop working for a split second.

Zhou Li chose to lay his cards out with him specifically because he didn’t want to see Madam Zhou’s brain crash on the spot and faint in front of him.

He briefly explained the situation between Qian Liye and Qian Duoshu, finishing with, “So, if you guys see me disappear someday, it means the real Qian Liye has come back. He…has some psychological problems, so I strongly suggest you guys take him to see a psychiatrist. Additionally, he is very stubborn about his self-esteem. After being beaten for so long, he has never told anyone that he’s suffering from domestic abuse. Everyone thinks that he’s constantly fighting with others. With this specific circle in society, too many people are arrogant. If he finds trouble with those people outside, there is a definite chance that he will not tell you, so please pay attention.”

Father Zhou’s complexion was ashen. He regretted not throwing a punch at Qian Duoshu before.

After Zhou Li’s clarification, he felt a weight lift off his body.

Ji Shaoyan successfully returned to his original body and Qian Liye’s situation has been sorted out. Now all that was left, was for him to live his life out, one day after another. There was no need for anymore of this long-term planning. All he needed to do now…was to live as happily as possible.

The community covered a large area, with all of the residences being single-family villas. He was only able to see another family’s home after a long walk.

It was currently the evening and the number of people roaming around in the community gradually increased. Someone soon spotted this duo and a photo instantly spread to various WeChat groups.

When Ji Shaoyan received the shared post from Liang Jingxiu, he was in the middle of eating dinner. Clicking on it, he saw that the person in the post was none other than Zhou Li.

Liang Jingxiu: Today’s big melon*, the Zhou family’s true second young master has been found!

[T/N: big gossip, one that you purely act as a spectator to]

Ji Shaoyan: “……”

Liang Jingxiu sent a voice message: “There are surprises everywhere in life. I really never expected this kind of turning point in my life. Your chance is here. How many people in this circle are waiting to see the real Second Young Master Zhou? With your little lover’s temper, he will will definitely offend a bunch of people. By then, it will be harder, you understand.”

Ji Shaoyan thought to himself, the one who who had a temper was not Zhou Li.

Just the indifferent personality of Silly Fool, coupled with the pits in his mind, it will be hard to specify just exactly who the difficult one* was in the future.

[T/N: the personality who is harder to deal with]

He was about to reply when he heard the door creak open. Seeing his grandfather walk in, he put down his phone and said, “Grandpa.”

Grandpa Ji replied “en“.

He had been busy for the entire day and was finally able to have some free time. He intended to ask his grandson just exactly what was going through his mind earlier today, what made him so eager to not even bring a bodyguard!

Ji Shaoyan said, “Grandpa, I want to leave the hospital and recuperate at home.”

Grandpa Ji walked over and sat down, then bluntly vetoed his request. “No.”

Ji Shaoyan looked at him, a bad feeling growing in the back of his head.

Sure enough, his bad hunch proved to be correct as his grandpa said, “Xiao-Yang is reflecting on his actions at home and you will stay here to reflect on your own. Every day, you can only go downstairs in the morning and evening to get fresh air. As for the rest of the day, you are not allowed to leave the ward.”

Ji Shaoyan: “……”

The author has something to say:

Ji Shaoyan: I am very unhappy.

Seeing how all of you were talking about Qian Liye in the last chapter, let’s just say a few words ba.

《Husky’s Marriage》 He is dead, 100% guarantee. No need to think about it.

《Husky’s Saviour》There will be a follow-up explanation for him later on, but he will definitely not appear. He will only receive a few words of clarification. We have a big melon here, and important clues have already been given, but only a few people will be able to figure it out.

Last thing, Zhou’s arm is excessive to a fault. What many meanings does ‘arm’ have? 233333*

[T/N: basically, LOLOLOL]
[T/N: 周胳膊已经很过分了,胳膊肘是几个意思: I don’t understand the last part of the A/N, sorry ;-;]

  1. Ngl the moments where Zhou Li tells others about him being the 2nd personality and scenes revolving around that have a special place in my heart xDD like the one where Qian Duoshu hired some fake spiritual guy and it unsurprisingly did nothing XD I’m curious how his new big bro will react to it. He’s kinda giving me yan vibes xDD looking forward to their interactions 😀
    Thank you~ (´▽`)

  2. I’m so glad he told them. It’s nice when a person doesn’t need to stay in character. Time to dazzle with his intellect. And save his new brother from being sent back the other way I hope.

  6. With being severely abused throughout the years, the original QLY having DID is reasonable enough ah. It will be seen as ZL the repressed self. The complete opposite of the orig. Liking this development despite the dogblood haha

  7. Kinda sad for QLY not coming back but I do appreciate ZL still advocating for the former. Instead of just a few words, I wish he got his own happy ending with a loving family who will not beat him (an extra perhaps?). Okay. I’m gonna cry now.
